AN enticing one-off $4 million minimum-guaranteed payout is bait enough to double down on Saturday's Reggae 6 after last week's payout of $169,493.

LION OF EKATI and IANNAI LINKS are the two obvious choices to open the Reggae 6. LION OF EKATI was a string winner when last raced, whereas IANNAI LINKS scored a runaway win at the level before being burnt, off the claim, up in class against better runners.

Returning to the grade, IANNAILINKS will either make a mockery of the event or finish down the track, second run from a barn, which might not be as familiar with his ailments as previous trainer Saqlain Roman would have been.

Bankers are crucial on tricky programmes, which will need multiple selections in races with non-existent form. Therefore, ABILITY's back class can be trusted to take home the 2023 Jamaica Derby winner among $1.5 million claimers at six furlongs in the second.

Similarly, United States-bred RIDEALLDAY, a narrow loser to fellow American UNSPUN last out, should make it two wins from three starts in the third at five and a half furlongs.

Jason DaCosta's down-in-class LUCY IN THE SKY is a tempting prospect in the fourth among $700,000 claimers after galloping four furlongs in 49.4 on the round course. However, the mile chute can be a gruelling course for suspect runners, opening the door for the likes of middle-distance specialists SOLO BLACK, DADDY JONES and CRIMSON, who can pounce if sound.

Peter Parsard's WOMAN IN LOVE, a half-sister to 2023 Gold Cup winner, She's My Destiny, returns fitted with blinkers in which she galloped 1:01.2 on the round course at exercise after losing to QUEEN LATEPHA at six furlongs a month ago.

TRAIN OF THOUGHT is also a worthy banker to close the Reggae 6, at seven furlongs, after losing second on the line to PROVIDENT. TRAIN OF THOUGHT was touched off for second, going seven and a half furlongs, after chasing MIDNIGHT GALAXY down the backstretch and up the lane.
