Shaneil Muir collapses due to exhaustion
Recording artiste Shaneil Muir has been ordered by her doctor to rest after she collapsed in Montego Bay, St James on Saturday.
The dancehall entertainer was at A&B Complex on Market Street in her home city when she collapsed. A statement issued by her team said that she was taken to GWest medical Centre where she was assessed and sent on seven days leave due to stress related symptoms and exhaustion which led to the collapse.
The 'Top Gyal' artiste was scheduled to perform at Shades Pon Di Beach in Ocho Rios, St Ann on Saturday night, and Cups Up in Hartford Connecticut, on Sunday. She has apologized to her fans and promoters and has also vowed to take better care of her own health.
"Shaneil has also committed to speaking openly about her situation via her social media pages as soon as she is physically and mentally able to," her team said.
