Jockey Oneil Mullings gunned down in St Andrew
On Sunday veteran jockey Oneil Ricardo Mullings was gunned down in his Kingston 11 community, following a bitter dispute with two brothers now wanted by the St Andrew South police.
Mullings was a jockey at Caymanas Park in St Catherine.
The police report that Mullings was along Thompson View Avenue, Kingston 11, where he lived, when he was approached by a man armed with a firearm.
The gunman opened fire, hitting Mullings in the head.
He was assisted to hospital by the police, where he was pronounced dead.
The police are appealing to anyone who may have information on Browns' whereabouts to contact the Hunts Bay police at 876-923-7111, Crime Stop at 311, the JCF Tip Line at 811, or the nearest police station.
Investigations continue.
