Decomposing body of 77-y-o man found in Old Harbour

The St Catherine South police are investing the death of a 77-year-old man whose decomposing body was found in the parish yesterday.

The body has been identified as Leslie Topping of Burke Road, Old Harbour in St Catherine.

Reports are that about 6:20 p.m. on September 21, passers-by start to encountered a foul smell in the vicinity of Topping's dwelling.

The police were summoned and upon arrival the body was found.

The scene was processed and the body removed for a post-mortem examination.

The Old Harbour police are also probing the matter.
